Pomegranate Seed Oil

Pomegranate Seed Oil contains palmitic acid (5.30±0.38%), stearic acid (2.78±0.51%), oleic acid (12.34±2.88%), linoleic acid (13.45±2.01%) and punicic acid (64.65±4.51%). Pomegranate Seed Oil has a high concentration of punicic acid or omega-5. This type of fatty acid is effective in preventing the formation of acidic cancer cells. Punicic acid also has antioxidant, antitumor, anti-atherosclerotic and serum lipid-lowering properties.

Uses of Pomegranate Seed Oil

Pomegranate Seed Oil is a very versatile beauty staple. It is perfect for both skin and hair.

For skin, Granate can be used instead of daily anti-aging moisturizer both in the morning and at night. We suggest Granate Oil for mature, dry and acne-prone skin and suggest hypoallergenic Hoba Oil or anti-aging rich Rosehip Oil for skins with sensitivities. All oils, including Granate, are best when applied on slightly wet skin. Best companion for Granate is Katari geranium hydrating and skin soothing hydrosol - Geran.

For hair Pomegranate Seed Oil helps fight dandruff when massaged into clean, slightly wet scalp and hair roots. It is a wonderful styling oil - just a few drops smoothed throughout the hair lengths for delicious scent and UV protection and to get those fly-aways under control.

Storage
Please store away from direct sun.

Shelf life
Typical shelf life of a natural oil is 2 years from production. All oils you receive from us are cold-pressed within about 1-2 months of you receiving them. Please advice your customers to use oils within 3-6 months if possible to take advantage of the freshest sources of vitamins and micro-elements in oils while they are at their peak.

Warning
Pomegranate Seed Oil can be used for all skin types and there are no reported issues with potential reactions but it might be adviced not to use for sensitive skin and excessive use during preganancy (might want to consult physician). Please advice your customers to always test all natural products (skin patch test) before use to rule out personal insensitivities to ingredients, scents, etc.
